Nova Poshta Shipping Module for JoomShopping 5+ integrates Nova Poshta delivery directly into checkout and retrieves the required data through the service's API.

The store receives up-to-date data from Nova Poshta without having to maintain shipping rates and branch lists manually.
Branch or courier delivery
The extension supports two main Nova Poshta delivery options:
- collection at a Nova Poshta branch;
- courier delivery to the customer's address.
Both shipping methods are created automatically after installation. The administrator then completes the basic configuration and defines when they can be used.
Branch delivery
Customers select their city or town and the appropriate Nova Poshta branch directly during checkout.
Courier delivery
A separate Nova Poshta courier shipping method can be used for orders delivered to the customer's address.

Shipping costs are calculated through the Nova Poshta API using current service data.

Shipping costs can be included in the order total or paid directly by the recipient.

Shipping costs do not need to be entered manually as fixed rates.
The module connects to the Nova Poshta API and uses current service data to calculate shipping costs.
This allows the store to use the carrier's current rates without manually changing them after every update.
Less manual administration:
calculation data and available delivery destinations are retrieved directly from Nova Poshta.
Selecting the correct city or town
It is important to identify the correct delivery location, especially because Ukraine has cities and towns with identical or similar names.
The module uses Nova Poshta data to find and identify the location so that customers can select an available delivery option correctly.
Delivery details are entered directly in the shipping method section, independently of whether a similar field is used in the customer's main address.
Choosing a convenient branch
After selecting a city or town, customers can choose the required Nova Poshta branch.
The module uses an up-to-date list of available branches and makes it easier to find a suitable collection point.
This is particularly important in large cities with many branches, where a simple long list would be inconvenient for customers.
Shipping does not have to be included in the order total
Not every store pays for shipping itself. Customers often pay Nova Poshta directly when collecting their parcel.
In this case, the automatically calculated shipping cost can be excluded from the order total.
The store continues to use the required shipping method, but the carrier's charge is not added to the amount customers pay to the store.
Automatic creation of shipping methods
After installation, separate shipping methods are created automatically for:
- Nova Poshta branch delivery;
- Nova Poshta courier delivery.
They can then be configured like standard JoomShopping shipping methods, including their links to the required payment methods.
Integrates with standard JoomShopping checkout
The module works within JoomShopping's standard shipping mechanism.
Nova Poshta delivery therefore becomes part of the normal checkout process alongside the other shipping and payment methods used by your store.
Customers do not need to visit external pages or tell a manager their preferred branch separately after placing an order.
