JoomShopping 5+ Language Product Display Plugin

In a multilingual store, some products may be ready for publication in only certain languages. Avoid displaying a product page in a language where its name is missing.

The Language-Based Product Display plugin for JoomShopping 5+ checks the product name in the current language and restricts access if it is empty.

The check applies specifically to the product name.

Selected language

The check uses the current site language.

Missing name

The product is hidden in that language version.

404 response

A direct request to that product page returns a 404 page.

Scope of the check

A product name does not mean that its description, metadata and other translated fields are complete. The plugin does not validate translation completeness. Fill in names for the language versions that should be accessible and check other fields separately.

Languages and installation

The plugin works with languages enabled in Joomla. It is intended for JoomShopping 5 and Joomla 5 and requires no additional configuration of the name check.

The plugin controls product availability by language using one clear condition: whether the product has a name in the selected language.

Installation instructions:
