To use your online store products in Google Merchant Center and Google Shopping, Google needs structured catalog data: product titles, descriptions, prices, images, availability, categories, and other product attributes.
Google Merchant Center Product Export for JoomShopping 5+ generates a product feed from your JoomShopping catalog and lets you configure the data sent to Google Merchant Center.

Core product data in the feed
The extension exports the main information required to create product offers for Google.
Title and description
Product title and description are exported through g:title and g:description.
Price and sale price
Supports the regular price g:price and sale price g:sale_price.
Product images
The feed can include the main product image or all available product images.
Each product offer also includes its g:id identifier.
Google Product Category and additional attributes
Additional feed attributes can be exported to provide Google with more complete product information.
g:google_product_category — Google product category;g:condition — product condition: new, refurbished or used;g:shipping — shipping information;g:availability_date — product availability date;- other attributes that can be populated from JoomShopping product characteristics.
A JoomShopping category and a Google category are not the same thing. The extension lets you send the required Google Product Category value to Merchant Center.
Map JoomShopping characteristics to Google attributes
One of the key features of the extension is the ability to use JoomShopping product characteristics to populate Google Merchant Center attributes.
You can map characteristics to:
g:gender;g:age_group;g:color;g:size;g:material;g:availability;g:condition;g:google_product_category;g:shipping_price;g:custom_label_0 … g:custom_label_4.
When a JoomShopping characteristic is assigned to an attribute, its value takes priority over the corresponding default value.
This is especially useful for clothing, footwear, accessories, and other catalogs where color, size, material, gender, or age group are already stored as JoomShopping characteristics.
Custom Labels for product grouping
Support for g:custom_label_0–g:custom_label_4 lets you include your own product labels in the feed.
These labels can be used in Google Merchant Center and advertising campaigns to group product offers according to the structure and marketing needs of your store.
Filter products for export
You do not always need to send the entire catalog to Google. The extension lets you control which products are included in the feed.
Categories and manufacturers
Select products by JoomShopping categories or manufacturers.
Specific products
When required, control the inclusion of individual products in the export.
Minimum stock
Set the minimum product quantity required for an item to be included in the feed.
Minimum price
Exclude products whose price is below the configured value.
Feed content language
Multilingual stores can select which language should be used for the feed content.
Product titles, descriptions, and other language-dependent information are generated according to the selected export language.
This makes it possible to create a product feed for the required language version of the store instead of being limited to the default website language.
Price currency
The settings allow you to choose the currency in which product prices are exported to the feed.
This is particularly useful for stores that use multiple currencies in JoomShopping or target a Merchant Center market that differs from the store's primary currency.
Shipping information in the feed
The extension supports shipping parameters, including shipping cost.
The current version also supports shipping country, allowing more complete shipping information to be included in product offers.
Export profile settings
You can configure the main export profile and feed file parameters:
- profile name;
- profile description;
- generated file name;
<channel> parameters;- content language;
- price currency.
Correct product URLs
The extension includes an additional Disable SEF option for product link generation.
It can be used when Joomla or website routing settings interfere with correct URL generation during feed creation.
