Automatic Currency Rate Updates for JoomShopping 5 is a extension that updates your store’s exchange rates on a schedule using the Joomla Task Scheduler.

Spend less time updating exchange rates manually: choose a bank, set the update frequency, and optionally add a percentage markup to the retrieved rates.

Extension Features

Scheduled Updates

Set the update frequency and execution time using the Joomla Task Scheduler. Exchange rates will be updated according to your configured schedule.

Exchange Rate Sources

Choose a bank from the sources available in the settings. Supported sources include Monobank.

Exchange Rate Markup

Set a percentage markup to apply to exchange rates during updates. This lets you include an additional buffer when converting prices between currencies.

Currency Exclusions

Select currencies whose exchange rates should not be updated. This allows you to retain values set manually in your store settings.

Joomla Task Scheduler Integration

The extension automatically creates a JoomShopping currency update task during installation. Manage its schedule and monitor execution through the familiar Joomla administrator interface.

Test Run. Run the task manually to check the update without waiting for the next scheduled execution.
Execution History. View details of previous runs in the task’s execution history tab.
Logging. Enable a separate task log and specify the log file name.
Notifications. Configure notifications for successful runs and errors using the Joomla Task Scheduler.
Latest Retrieved Rates. Open the latest exchange rates file directly from the task settings.

Getting Started

Install the extension using the Joomla extension installer.
Open the Task Scheduler and find the automatically created “Nevigen — Update JoomShopping currencies” task.
Choose a bank, set the markup, and add currencies to the exclusion list if needed.
Configure the update frequency and execution time, then save the task with its status set to Enabled.
Run a test and check the exchange rates in JoomShopping.

Please note: automatic updates require the Joomla Task Scheduler to be configured to run. The execution time in the task settings field shown is specified in UTC.

Installation instructions:
After purchase, installation is carried out through the Nevigen.com installer, which you can download in your account and install on your website. After installing the installer, you will need to enter a license key, which you can also find in your account on our website. The license key will provide access to updates and support.

В России запрещено указывать цены в других валютах. Сильно выручает когда у клиента импортная продукция и цены нужно постоянно конвертировать с актуальным курсом.

Все работает корректно и правильно. Делалось для обновления курса ПриватБанка по скрину к самому дополнению.

Действительно очень удобное и незаменимое расширение для мультивалютного (мультиязычного) сайта. Порадовала возможность гибкой настройки (корректировка курса конвертации). Разработчики как всегда на высоте :)

Привет разработчикам! ОЧЕНЬ полезный плагин для тех кому надо каждый день свежая цена в грн., не заменим не сегодняшний дель когда курс меняется каждый день. Но при установке была проблема, то есть проблема была не в самом плагине как в хостинге. Немного движений пообщавшись с тех поддержкой и несколько движений на хостинге как проблема была решена!
